Team Rules

 


Conduct: All Team members and drivers are expected to conduct themselves in an orderly manner. Physical violence or verbal abuse of any kind, by an individual, official, participant, spectator or team member will result in ejection from Richmond Raceway.

Pit Crews: Drivers or parents/guardians of drivers are responsible for the control and actions of their pit crew members.

Unsportsman Like Conduct: All racers, team members, and pit visitors shall refrain from entering another racer's pit area to harass or threaten another. Any violations should be reported immediately to a track official. A loss of 50 points or immediate ejection could result.

Prohibited Substances: All participants/team members entering the facility shall be sober and not under the influence of any substance that may impair their ability to participate in a safe and orderly manner.

Restricted Area: All individuals entering the restricted area at Richmond Raceway must sign and execute all insurance documents before entering the pit area.

Facility/Environmental Care: All racers, team members are asked to properly dispose of oils, fuel, parts, tires, etc. in a safe manner. Please notify track officials immediately if an accident occurs. (Such as an oil spill)

Pit Speed: NO driving in pit. Use caution and care when going to and from the track. No vehicle will be operated under power in the pit area. Remember to watch out for children and elderly. Give yourself plenty of time.

Refueling: Vehicles are to be refueled in the pit area only. During refueling, the engine must be stopped and the driver out of the vehicle. No dispensing of fuel or oil in other than approved containers will be allowed.

 
Track management reserves the right to confiscate any competitor's engine or part, at any time, for any reason.

It is impossible to list all the modifications or exceptions that may be considered illegal within this online version of the rule book. For the purpose of enforcement, only those items listed are permissible. It shall be the owner's/operator's responsibility to check with the Tech official if questions arise prior to competing.

Any Rules or modifications to the rules, after the season has started, will be posted on the parts building information board at the track.
